Muncy Locals 11.27

November 27, 2019
By Cinda Knier , The Luminary

After 11 years as defensive coordinator for the football program at Muncy, Dale Michael has decided to step aside in that capacity. Dale was even present during the off-season, molding and shaping lives and scouting out prospective athleticism in boys' sporting events, including Little League baseball games. While he is unsure if he will continue coaching in a smaller role, his commitment in whatever future role he might accept is one that will truly be rewarding for players, parents and fans and ultimately, the school district. As a parent of one of those boys, I say "thank you," knowing words will never be enough for the indelible lessons he imparted over that time.

Speaking of high school football, Muncy senior Isaac Boring has more points than any Muncy kicker in the 21st century. Following last Saturday's game against Lackawanna Trail, Isaac logged 89 points in his varsity career in that position-pretty impressive as he didn't begin until his junior year. Outstanding, Isaac!
