Muncy Locals Nov. 20, 2019

November 20, 2019
By Cindy Knier , The Luminary

A police and fire company escort welcomed our Muncy Indians Saturday afternoon after our Muncy Indians forged their way into uncharted terrority against Millersburg during gridiron playoffs! Our guys in navy blue and white are the first team in Muncy's storied history to earn the program's first state tournament game. Quarterfinal-bound to play Lackawanna Trail this Friday evening, 7 p.m. at Williamsport's Millionaire Stadium, the Indians are 9-4 this season, and have left an indelible legacy for future teams to rival. A hearty round of applause also goes to the cheerleaders and marching band members, who have traveled as vocal and musical pep boosters for the team. Without their support and continual encouragement, we are not able to proudly proclaim #onetribe!
