The artistry of Riley Cotner, of Muncy, is among 12 other Pennsylvania College of Technology students gracing the new office and gallery space of Lycoming Arts, 46 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

As part of a Wood Sculpture art elective, Cotner crafted a mask, inspired by a study of African masks. Each mask was hand-carved with chisels, mallets and rasps, and the students were encouraged to experiment with shape, color, texture, mixed media additions and other design elements.

The exhibit was unveiled at First Friday festivities on Nov. 1 and will remain on display until the first week in December. Cotner, a 2016 graduate of Muncy, is studying engineering design technology.

Haley Bowersox of Hughesville, participated in Cedar Crest College's 2019-2020 Annual Day of Service. This opportunity allows students to serve others while demonstrating learning, connection, and caring involvement in the surrounding community. The Class of 2023 teamed up with faculty and staff members, Interim President Elizabeth Meade, and their first -year mentors on Saturday, Aug. 24. The group cleaned up the grounds at Trexler Park and teamed up with the Special Olympics.

Jamie Sterner, of Pennsdale, is a member of the Kutztown University Marching Unit (KUMU), an energetic part of the campus community, which provides music, marching and entertainment for all KU Golden Bears football games, select away games, marching band festivals/competitions, professional sporting events, parades and campus spirit building activities. Jamie is a 2016b graduate of Muncy High School.
