Montgomery High School to present “Into the Woods”

April 11, 2018
The Luminary

MONTGOMERY - 'Virtuoso', the Montgomery High School music and theatre ensemble, will be presenting their spring musical, "Into the Woods" on Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

With music by Stephen Sondheim and story collaboration with James Lapine, this operetta skillfully intertwines several beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a modern way. Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel find themselves helping a baker and his wife on their quest for a child. All of the characters simultaneously pursue their own wishes with humorous and heartfelt music.

Tickets are available on the Showtix4u website or can be purchased by calling 1-866-967-8167. Tickets also can be purchased through the school website at www.montasd.org and will be sold at the door two hours prior to each show but reserved seating is encouraged.
