DeHass & Bro. are preparing to enlarge their carriage manufactory on HIgh street.

The festival of the Juvenile Brady Monument Association Saturday evening netted the monument fund $27.00. Wm. A. Petrikin carried off the prize scarf.

Richard Ecryd, while crossing the river at Halls in a small boat, had a narrow escape from drowning when the craft capsized.

Died-In this borough, on Sunday, Feb. 15. Mrs. Marty Brown, aged 74 years.

Waldron & Sprout are receiving orders from all quarters for their lignin vitae rollers for roller skates.

Two big loads of lumber passed through Main street on the road to the Reading depot last Saturday. One contained 6,1000 feet and the other 6,000 feet. The weight in either case must have exceeded 20,000 pounds.

Moving Pictures For P.O.S. Of A. and And Families

The H.C. of L. is to blame for the increase in prices of ice cream-the delicacy that so many cannot do without.

Lloyd Koons, the plumber, will change locations the first of April. He will move his store from the present site in the Stolz building to the Painter store room, Main street.

Harvey Hinkle died Thursday in Williamsport-Was a Native of Muncy-Last of Immediate Family-Survived Widow and Three Children

Died: Rev. Lyman D. Calkins, D.D., formerly of this place, and well known here, died at his home in N.J. on Sunday night. He was 70 years of age; Frank A. Rager died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George B. Rager, in this borough. He was aged thirty years eleven months and twenty-five days; Mrs. Susan D. Brewer died at her home, Williamsport, Wednesday morning, after a short illness, at the advanced age of ninety-two years; Effie Elizabeth, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Miller, died at hits home in Muncy Creek township, near Muncy, Friday at the age of nine months.

Last Saturday Mrs. James Covert, of South Main street, fell on the ice and broke her nose.

Ray Rothfull, who built a small restaurant at the "Y" east of Muncy into one of the area's most popular businesses for the past 35 years, died at University of Pennsylvania hospital in PHiladelphia Tuesday evening, Feb. 7

Dr. J. Donald Wentzler, of Pennsdale, the anesthesiologist, has been re-appointed as editor of Lycoming Medicine, the Journal of Lycoming County Medical Society.
